The Passion That Became Upper Limit

Every company has a story. Some of those stories have launched into pop culture, such as the founding of Facebook, Apple, and Microsoft. These companies were founded in the garages of individuals who had a passion and used that passion to form some of our most notable products and companies in the 21st century.

Upper Limit Aviation may not be as well-recognized as Apple, but our founding does have the same passion behind it that led to its founding by the mother and son CEOs who remain at the company's helm today. The founding of Upper Limit can be traced back to co-founder Lois Reid's childhood, where she watched her parents build aircraft in the family's backyard. Her father was a veteran pilot during World War II and her love of aviation is a family affair. Her husband was a commercial airline pilot as well.

Lois opens up about her story and how she and her son built a company that is dedicated to serving veterans and pilots across the country. She shares the hardships her family has endured, but how the love of flying was unwavering and continues to lead Upper Limit Aviation today.

You can read more about Lois' story here.
