Two New Cessna Aircraft

Welcome to the Fleet. Two new Cessna aircraft are introduced at +Upper Limit Aviation - Cedar City

Cedar City introduced two new Cessna aircraft to its fleet this past week to further enhance the fixed-wing flight training program in partnership with +Southern Utah University. The aircraft will help bring down cost of flight training and also provide more convenient and comfortable training circumstances. We're excited to introduce the new planes to our fleet, and even more excited to have our aspiring pilots get them into the sky!

Upper Limit Aviation shows off our two new additions to the fixed wing training flight fleet.  This week we received two Cessna 172 Skyhawks.  We’ve added a 2008 and a 2009 C 172 S to the ULA airplane fleet in order to provide our students with an exceptional training experience at a great price. Both airplanes come with the Garmin G1000 avionics package and leather seats as standard equipment.  The 2009 model has the electronic air-conditioning unit allowing our student pilots to be comfortable during training over the hot summer months.
For many new pilots their first exposure to the Cessna 172 S (Cessna Skyhawk) is also their first experience to an increase of aircraft “size and performance”. Usually, new pilots get their first flight training experience in a Cessna 150 series, so the Skyhawk seems much bigger and more powerful in comparison.
The Cessna 172 S is a simple aircraft and doesn't burn a lot of fuel.  Therefore, its a great training aircraft for new pilots, while keeping flight training costs to a minimum. The C172 S is easy to fly, and it’s great for short/small air fields. It is powered by a Lycoming IO-360-L2A producing 180 horsepower (134 kW). For these reasons and more, the Cessna 172 S is the trainer of choice at many flight schools. Read more
