The Jeff Vogel Story

It's intimidating to some, but a thrill for him. The story of pilot, Jeff Vogel

Upper Limit Aviation pilot, Jeff Vogel

From when he was young, Jeff Vogel knew what he wanted to do with his life: fly. Having grown up with aviation in his family, the young pilot knew that that's what his career would be by the time he was 13. "When I was 13 I did my first intro flight lesson in a Cessna 172 and I just remember days and weeks going by and I could not stop smiling," says Jeff.

It's not everyday that you come across pilots with such a passion for flying. To some it's just a job, but to the best pilots it becomes something more; it becomes part of your life. Jeff's story is an inspirational one to those of us who have always been looking towards the sky and dreamed about being up there.

Global Professional Helicopter Pilot Spotlight: South America

Global Professional Helicopter Pilot Spotlight: South America

Global Professional Helicopter Pilot Spotlight: South America
South America is a vast continent with many opportunities for professional helicopter pilots. Choosing to pursue a career in an exotic locale, far away from home, has the potential to offer some tremendous benefits not available anywhere else. The international aviation industry is in the middle of a period of protracted expansion that doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, and while there are plenty of amazing careers to be had at home, pilots willing to relocate can often get in on the ground floor to have access to some of the most exciting possible careers in aviation. Upper Limit Aviation (1-855-HELIEDU) believes that with the right training, our students can go on to pursue the professional helicopter pilot career of their dreams in any location they choose.

South America Is A Prime Location for Professional Helicopter Pilots to Find Success

Professional pilots looking for helicopter careers in South America will find that many of the same jobs that are available elsewhere are also available on the continent. However, the most exciting jobs exist primarily because of the geographic features of the region. The Amazon is one of the least explored regions in the world. There are very few places on the planet where you can pursue genuine adventure. Pharmaceutical companies and many other industries have operations in the Amazon that necessitate helicopter transport pilots to reach locations deep within the rainforest. There are many countries in South America that produce oil and hydroelectric energy, and those industries require helicopter pilots at unprecedented rates.

South America is a beautiful continent, featuring some of the most incredible sights in the world. Upper Limit Aviation believes that our students graduate with the necessary training to perform with excellence in the helicopter career of their choice. Students seeking global opportunities in any of the beautiful countries of South America will be rewarded with a career that will keep them inspired and secure for a lifetime. If you would like to pursue a higher caliber of training, call 1-855-HELIEDU to get started at Upper Limit Aviation today.
